What did I learn?
My experience in the Interpersonal Relationships Lab provided me with a foundational understanding of the world of psychological research from both a professional and a researcher's perspective. Below is a list of the many of the lessons and skills I gained from my experience as a research assistant.

Growing as a researcher and as a professional...
- I have learned more about the world of psychological research due in part to my far more intimate experience in its conduction than any psychology research basics course could provide. This certainly eases potential tension in potentially creating and conducting research myself in future instances as a lab RA in my undergraduate or postgraduate careers.Portfolio
- I have grown in terms of my professional attitude toward the field, having realized the importance of interacting either with my fellow undergraduate and graduate RAs of the lab and in the poster creation, as well as being ready to interact with other professionals in the field on Undergraduate PSYC Research Day. This has undoubtedly helped to make sure I am remembered beyond merely being a student at this university, but also as a potential talent looking to make an impact in contributing to his field of interest. You can find evidence of this pursuit in the poster I created with graduate student Jessica and fellow undergraduate RA Luke for Undergraduate PSYC Research Day.
